The Wild Food Fandango features 9 of the most prominent and accomplished chefs in Minneapolis competing to create the crowds favorite wild food dish. Contestants will select from a list of wild products supplied by Gentleman Forager such as mushrooms, wild greens, nuts, berries, wild rice, etc., as well as limited protein options, that will be part of each chef’s ingredient choices.  In addition to the incredible food, the day includes regional band Useful Jenkins, the duo of Curtis Obeda from the Butanes with Camile Baudoin of the New Orleans band The Radiators along with local group The Dang Ol' Tri'ole.  Wild Food Fandango is an indoor/outdoor venue at the beautiful and historic Nicollet Island Pavilion, overlooking the Mississippi river, in downtown Minneapolis. The venue provides a scenic backdrop to a unique day of great food, great drinks and great music for everyone. Silent auction and raffle benefits the Huntington's Disease Society of America. Come celebrate the bounty of our Minnesota woods and waters with us! Wild Food Fandango is open for registrations now, with VIP tickets priced at $95 and general admission for $45. Ticket cost is all-inclusive, covering music and tastings from all nine chefs.

Ingredients for our event are sourced by the professionals of Gentleman Forager. Nearly all the many choices come from the Minnesota woods and waters, and are delivered for use within 24 hours. We are excited for people to taste the flavors and textures of a wide array of food items many people may have never experienced. From wild watercress to wild rice, to wild mushrooms, tubers, berries, nuts and greens, you will experience a wild flavor explosion you just can’t find at a grocer. Although we love everything wild, chefs do have a few, non-wild, meat/protein choices to utilize as a component in their dishes. Whether you are a vegetarian or a carnivore, Wild Food Fandango is sure to have something for everyone’s taste buds!
